Taipei City Hall is located in the center of Xin Yi District where is known as the gathering of shopping malls, hotels and business centers. It was not located here until 1994, The old city hall used to be located in the west side of the city, Because of the city extending, there was not enough spaces for the employees then it move to the new district of Xin Yi, At that time, this area hadn't been explored.
here is an exhibition hall called "Discovery Center of Taipei" providing a good introduction of Taipei's history, culture and interesting places. It is free for all the visitors, if you are planning to visit Taipei 101, you can take the opportunity to visit here too.

大地與樹景是整張畫中我最喜歡的部分

而筆觸則相對帶著飄逸

你看得好仔細，一定是點進去看了，的確，樹是亞熱帶所無法缺少的顏色，為了這黃色偏暖的建物，我試著盡量把左方的綠樹偏藍偏冷，右方的綠樹偏黃偏暖，產生兩個不同層次進退的感覺，前景變得更有立體感也更活潑，不然這張畫的建物本來沒畫窗子，一大塊黃色太呆了。畫窗子是我最難的決定，畫畫往往是"意到筆不到"，少畫窗子可以比較寫意，多畫了窗子會變成很寫實，但如寫意的畫，主角就成了配角，前景的樹和公園就會很搶戲，所以只好加上窗子，把建物和前景的繁複融在一起了~
