忠孝橋畔

三重忠孝橋畔,中秋前夕很熱鬧,搭滿了攝影腳架,玩家們為著紅月亮而來,如今空蕩蕩,人去樓空,剩下工程人員和清潔隊忙著整理颱風後的河岸,偶爾河面漂來一株枯木,零星路人經過,滿是蕭條。
「城裡的月光把夢照亮,請守候它身旁....」,一邊畫,一邊啍著,因為只會這一句,就一直重覆著....。 竊私當那輪明月高掛在城市上方,紫色月光傾瀉大地,守侯著城中每個人,和他心中所愛....多美的畫面啊!
威廉透納在一張完成的暴風雨畫作中壓了一個鮮艷的紅點,大家不明白他為何要破壞原本已協調的冷色畫作,透納出去一會,帶了塊布進來,把紅點一抹,成了一個半浮半沉的救生圈,眾人無不嘩然,此謂畫龍點晴。
今天我也在兩三圍觀路人前,用鎘紅和暗紅畫出那打著紅傘的人影,並把人給模糊了,表現出動態感。就前景這一小點,份量是夠的,四兩撥千金,呼應了對岸亦平衡了天地。天、地、人完美詮釋畫面。
就這一點,份量是夠的,其中一位路人驚訝的問?哪裡有打傘的路人啊?哈哈,我此刻臉上一定有三條線。
對!我是忘了,威廉透納加上紅色救生圈時,身邊都是當代知名畫家,而我加上紅傘時,身邊卻是路人甲、乙、丙。

蘆洲淡水河畔寫生

淡水河乃母親之河,流淌於斯土之上,迤邐而行百里,出江河之於淡海濱。
古淡北八景,「蘆洲泛月」,乃之於此。非秋冬之日,不得瞻其美,江波餘霞,輝映於觀音山後,銀盤皎月,出於陽明山前。蘆荻吐白,秋風颯颯。
中秋之日,在此寫生賞月,不亦快哉。
中秋佳節,杜鵑颱風來襲,少了中秋節氣氛,下著小雨,澆息眾人烤肉興致。母親身體仍無起色,吞嚥困難,已沒更好之法。
利用下午三點外出,到達目的地已近四點,時間不夠,就隨便蠟筆速寫了張北投焚化爐河岸風景。不畫還好,畫完後,意猶未盡,旋即覓至此景,值觀音山落日前,光影魔幻,即興了畫水彩之念。
三兩筆勾勒草稿即以大排筆潑墨天空,被時間逼得急,也逼出了靈感,濕紙上,任濃墨飛舞,倘流偏了方向,大筆一掃,導回正途。須臾,水墨落定,乾筆勾些細節,即告完成,一張四開,僅花四十分鐘。
此時光線已暗,河面亦暗了下來,不宜再畫,留著前景更暗的部份,回家再補些暗部層次。前景細節多,不宣一次就用濃墨填掉空白,總要層層鋪疊,留些空白處待會補筆。
秋冬之日,陰雨霏霏,畫完中間灰部後,已難再上色,見紙濕,宜濃墨直上,勿猶豫不決,待乾之後,自然會變淡。多次試驗後,即敢放膽。
初習水彩者,下手過重,紙上亮部救不回來;假以時日,矯枉過正,過於小心翼翼,成了用色用墨猶疑不決的乾澀筆觸。接著再畫一陣,即能依紙上水色反應墨的濃淡。此時隨心所欲自由自在矣。

The traffic light at this intersection takes more than 99 seconds, I could almost sketch the outline of the scene on the car before I passed through it. There is always a traffic jam here. I need at least waiting for the traffic light changed twice then I could go across it.

Foreign household worker Eti
Eti is an Indonesian foreign household worker who is paid for taking care of my Mother. As she got a decayed tooth, I took her to dentist and make a false tooth. From April to October, the course of treatment has took a long time, I sketched her when she was waiting for tooth scaling.

A small alley to MRT station
This is a beautiful alley straight to MRT station, which is between the XinYi elementary school and Mansions. There are many different kind of tree, such as silver Oak, pine, elm and maples. Sunshine will light this alley at noon only, it's very cool all day long.

There are some spots around XinYi Sports Center. After swimming, I could enjoy a cup of coffee and sit on the bench which is beneath the trees and then sketch. I almost draw every spots I could find around here, however there still had new scenes to be found as I was sketching every time.

Eslite bookstore
I used to go to Eslite bookstore to buy stationery and books. After MRT Red line was completed, I had no need to take blue line there. Now, Eslite is not the same as my memory. It's very popular with tourists who go shopping only.

八里風帆碼頭寫生

母親因為吞嚥困難,寫生計畫越來越難執行,可能要送醫院觀察,本計畫接續畫一年寫生,如今快被迫中斷。
昨天傍晚她情況很好,我想那就明天臨時邀集五味畫匠寫生,因為太臨時了,最後除了雯娟可參加,其他幾位要不沒回應,要不就是不能參加。
中午要出門時,忽然接到社長的電話,他正遲疑要不要去,我說馬上開車去載他,硬拖著他一起去。
八里今天濕度高,多雲,太陽呈大光源,沒影子。眼見景物很平,顏色灰灰的。
附近有景觀涼亭可以遮陽,但卻找不到廁所和裝水的地方。還好我出門前帶了兩公升水,解了三人燃眉之急。
最後剩一公升,煮完杯麵後即不夠泡咖啡了。
星期一,遊客很少,回程也不塞車,大家都畫起來很輕鬆,早早就完成。

今天在暗部處理上增加了層次,第一道先和中景一起完成,待乾之後,再加重前景。以平筆一半尖端沾墨,剩下一半沾稀釋的顏色,濃墨的部位在上方,刷過之後,讓濃墨和下方稀釋的顏色相接,可做出水筆子邊緣的效果。
暗部第二層以濕畫法重疊,一般第二層會以乾筆疊色,這樣前景的筆觸會很多,濕畫疊色要先用清水打濕,再以紙為調色盤,加入綠色、暗紅、藍紫、朱紅等不同冷暖。紙上調色後,顏色雖薄,但因為第一層上的顏色在下方已乾,所以此時兩層的顏色都會很明顯,且不易髒。
為了再創造前景暗部的層次,待第二層快乾時,以沾滿清水的平筆,暈開一些垂直的如同水花的形狀,最後再以甩乾的平筆,橫向破壞水花形狀。如此大面積前景就不會太平太單調。
放乾之後,再於左方疊上些許群青和普魯士藍,右方受光面疊上嫩色。

石碇拱橋吊腳樓

石碇崩山溪拱橋下很適合秋季下午寫生,我們一點出發,到達約一點三十,完成就位約兩點,此時溪床中有一半在陽光下,一半在陰影下,很適合斜陽表現。但太陽移動相當快,在陰影下作畫,色光偏藍嚴重。四點三十分畫完收工,煮咖啡吃冰淇淋,結束一下午的活動。
今天濕氣較重,遠山顯得模糊,可看到淡藍色水氣,天空發白,陽光依然很大,但暗部陰影卻沒那麼銳利。前兩次都分區塊完成,今天卻沒有,而以畫小畫的方式,全面展開,碰到濕的地方就跳到其他乾的部份,邊畫邊整理明暗邊修改透視。
我想之所以不用集中於某一區塊以三張八開的方式完成,是因為速度變快了,且掌控大畫的能力漸漸形成。
這景其實並不好畫,其內容豐富,但透視卻很難,要處理的東西也很多,比方說遠山、建物、拱橋,吊腳樓、溪床、石頭、人物、河面傾斜、水面、電桿.......等,這所有的細節都考驗對不同物件熟悉的程度。
能夠處理複雜的景物和光影,主要還是要多練素描,先看到大區塊的明灰暗,再處理每一區塊內的光影。亮部的調子硬,暗部的調子軟。
上次先完成暗部的軟調子,把剩下較短的時間完成亮部也是很好的方法,亮部層次不用太多,但對比要明確,很適合最後畫,一來水彩乾了之後會比較淡,畫的當下覺得剛好,乾了之後,對比還會加大,光感和整體畫面的對比會更好。

7-11 in our community
Our neighborhood 7-11 is located in the three-way intersection of our community. There are coffee shop, hair salon, simple mart and restaurants. Residents are pretty much rely on it. there were almost no competitors could compete with it. Family mart used to open on the opposite side of it, but peoples still like 7-11 more. I guess, because it is the first convenient store opened here.

The Gate 3 at Taipei 101 / World trade center.
I go figure painting on every Wednesday afternoon, then I passed by the gate 3 and run into this scene. There is a sound from the bottom of my heart asking me to sketch this scenery. Finally, I stop to paint it today. .

I love plants, but I was not patient enough to take care of them. sometime I saw people put plants outside the window and trimmed very neat. I wondering who is the master of those plants, those people who should be full of love with something very quiet and also a self demanding personality.

My dear mom got fever
My mother is a Parkinson disease patient. She spending a lot of time laying on bed. Recently my mom got fever which comes and goes from time to time. I have to flip her, beat her chest let the sputum comes out. I believe she suffering a lot.
